Website to spreadsheet

In scope for the first release.
Who asks for this
Anyone who has ever copied information from web pages into a spreadsheet by hand.
Say it like this
“Collect every listing on these three directory pages. I need name, website, city, category, and the page it came from.”
What you supply
- One or more page URLs
- The columns you want, or a plain description of them
- A maximum number of rows, if you need a cap
What you get back
| nametext · collected | websiteurl · collected | citytext · collected | categorytext · collected | source_urlurl · collected |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Harbor Bike Repair | harborbike.example | Portland | Repair | directory.example/p/1 |
| Alder & Co. Framing | alderframing.example | Portland | Framing | directory.example/p/1 |
| Northside Print Shop | — | Vancouver | Printing | directory.example/p/2 |
| Pearl Street Books | pearlbooks.example | Portland | Retail | directory.example/p/2 |
Column labels: collected comes from the page, derived is calculated from other columns at no extra cost, extra work needs another request per row and raises the estimate.
Workflow
How the agent handles it.
- 1
You paste the URLs and describe the columns.
- 2
We check what the pages expose and show you a plan with a row estimate.
- 3
You approve a spending limit.
- 4
We collect, normalize, and remove duplicates.
- 5
You review the table and export it.
Cost and limits
What moves the price, and where the answer can be no.
Cost drivers
- Number of pages and rows
- Whether every row needs a visit to its own detail page
- Retries when a page is slow or blocks requests
Where we say no first
- Pages behind a login are out of scope.
- Some sites limit how many records can be read in one run. We tell you first.
